Overview

This website is currently a personal site with static pages, articles, project notes, and browser-based tools. It does not currently provide visitor accounts, comments, contact forms, payment processing, or newsletter signup. A private administration account is used by the site owner to manage blog content.

Calculator Inputs

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. The site does not intentionally submit calculator values to a server or store them in a database. If you choose the share icon, the entered values are included in the generated URL. That URL may be retained in browser history, copied to a clipboard, or visible to anyone with whom you share it.

Browser Storage And Offline Files

The site uses browser storage for theme preference, WPM test mode, typing records, and Threat Queue game preferences and records. These values remain on the device where they were created unless browser site data is cleared. An optional service worker may also cache public site files so supported browsers can install the site or open previously cached pages while offline.

Technical Data

Like most websites, hosting, security, and analytics providers may process technical request data such as IP address, browser information, pages requested, performance metrics, and timestamps. This information is used to deliver the site, protect it, and understand basic performance.

Cookies And Analytics

The public site does not currently use advertising or behavioral analytics cookies. Content delivery and security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to deliver and protect the site. The private administrator login is handled by Amazon Cognito, which may use necessary authentication cookies. Administrator access tokens are kept in the browser's session storage and are cleared when that browser session ends.
